Reiki (ray-kee) is a gentle holistic healing therapy.

It originated in Japan and translates as “Universal Life Force Energy”. It’s an energy that is present in every living thing.

What to expect

Reiki is suitable for everybody. It is a non-intrusive healing technique where no pressure or manipulation is used.

You remain fully clothed throughout the treatment and can sit or lie down. It is a wonderful therapy for emotional, physical, spiritual and mental issues. Reiki promotes relaxation, well-being and helps the body’s own natural healing process.

I will gently transfer Reiki energy by placing my hands in a series of comfortable positions around you. You may experience a variety of feelings and sensations throughout the treatment such as tingling, heat or cold. During and after a treatment you may feel emotional or feel extremely calm, relaxed and/or invigorated; everyone reacts differently.
